Educational Catering

NCS understands the importance to children of having a healthy diet from their school meals.

Within Norfolk NCS provides catering services and management to 95% of primary and 45% of secondary schools in the county.

At those schools with on-site kitchens, we work with the school’s existing kitchen staff to create menus using local produce that are varied, nutritious and appealing to the students. If no on-site facility is available, NCS ensures that meals are delivered daily to provide pupils with a balanced diet throughout the school term.

Our nutritionists screen all food specifications against our strict additives and ingredients policy, and can arrange catering for specific religious, cultural or medical diets.

For Secondary Schools NCS have created an exciting range of meals and snacks that appeal to the students and provide them with a balanced diet. We also work with the school's staff to create a presentation style to which the students relate and an atmosphere in which they are happy to enjoy their meals.

Seasons

Our healthy, nutritious lunches are either prepared on-site or are delivered daily to primary schools. Menus are determined a term ahead and parents and teachers notified in advance. For special events or occasions, the meals are named relating to the subject, making the lunch a part of the learning process of the day.
