Community Health and Social Care
Norse Community Health and Social Care Division operates in two prime areas: Community Equipment Services and domiciliary healthcare.
Working with councils’ social services departments and NHS trusts, the Division manages the procurement and storage of equipment; delivery to service users’ homes and to hospitals; installation of equipment and minor adaptations; maintenance and testing of equipment; tailor-made equipment fabrication; refurbishment for reuse; and support to Occupational Therapists; all to the government’s Key Performance Indicator D54 for service delivery levels.
A comprehensive range of personal and practical domiciliary healthcare support offers people who because of illness, frailty, disability, learning difficulty or mental health problems require assistance and support at home. NorseCare provides an enabling service that recognises the individual needs of Service Users in a manner that maintains their dignity and promotes independence.
