Three NCS staff graduate
November 2008

Three young staff from the human resources department at Norse Commercial Services (NCS) have become graduates of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
The three, Ben Clemmett, who was awarded Top Student 2008, Lucy Fawbert, who had a baby during the final weeks of her study and Alison Peart, all studied for their exams at Suffolk College, Ipswich.
Tricia Fuller, Human Resources Director at NCS was full of praise for the student’s achievements:
“For one organisation to have three graduates in the same year is, in itself, unusual,” she commented. “But Ben finishing as the top student at the college, and Lucy having a baby during the final weeks of her studying makes the success even more remarkable. NCS is committed to assisting and encouraging staff to develop their skills, and gaining professional qualifications is a key part of that process.”
Graduate membership of the CIPD, which takes a minimum of 3 years to complete, is recognised as one of the harder professional qualifications to achieve, with an annual pass rate of around just 57%. |
