Norse joint venture company awarded ISO 9001
June 2010

Great Yarmouth Borough Services (GYBS), Grounds & Leisure Service division, has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance Certificate following a two day assessment by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance Ltd.
GYBS is a joint venture company owned by Great Yarmouth Borough Council and Norse Commercial Services.
The Grounds & Leisure Service division employs over 60 staff and provides services that include grass cutting, amenity and sports maintenance, tree work consultancy and interment at cemeteries.
The Lloyds assessor commented that: “All staff seen were committed to providing a good service to their customers”.
“Our staff take great pride in ensuring quality of service delivery,” said Phil Dixon, Norse Customer Service Manager, “and this accreditation is a clear indication of their achievement. It is also great news for the residents of the Great Yarmouth borough,”. |
