Green fingered tenants gather Norse sponsored
‘Havebury in Bloom’ Awards
October 2009

Over fifty green-fingered Suffolk tenants, their friends and families, gathered at Havebury’s Community Evening to hear the results of the annual gardening contest, Havebury in Bloom, sponsored this year by Norse.
Peter Negri, Commercial Director of sponsors Norse and head judge of Havebury in Bloom, said: “It was the fourth year of the competition that we instigated back in 2006 and the quality of entries has improved every year.”
Havebury Housing Partnership (‘Havebury’) is an independent, not-for-profit housing association (or ‘Registered Social Landlord and charity) dedicated to the provision of high quality affordable housing together with housing community and neighbourhood services.
Norse has carried out grounds maintenance at Haverbury Housing Partnership since 2003. The contract covers large housing estates, 17 sheltered homes and 60 villages throughout the St Edmundsbury district.
Norse instigated the Havebury in Bloom competition in 2005 as a way of engaging local residents.
